ENDEAVOR SELECTION TEAM

This month, Endeavor selected eight entrepreneurs leading companies from three markets: three companies at our 46th virtual International Selection Panel (ISP) held June 24-26, 2024, and one at a separate “come back” panel for entrepreneurs who attended a previous ISP (details below).

Each ISP is the culmination of a rigorous, multi-step selection process to identify high-impact entrepreneurs from all over the world. We seek founders with the greatest growth potential and those who commit to reinvesting time and resources into their local entrepreneurial ecosystems to help build the next generation of entrepreneurs, sparking a Multiplier Effect. During the ISP, our panelists interviewed entrepreneurs about their businesses and evaluated their potential for high-impact growth. The panelists then discuss the candidates and vote on whether to select them to become Endeavor Entrepreneurs.

Panelists

As always, we had an outstanding group of panelists who were given the task of selecting the next great leaders. Thank you to:

What they do: Founded in 2021, Creatopy is an AI-driven creative automation platform that helps brands and agencies scale their ad production in the most efficient way. Users can leverage AI to streamline content editing and automate design tasks, collaborate with team members in real-time, and deliver ads directly from the platform. The company is trusted by over eight thousand customers, including Salesforce and Autodesk.

Who they are: Dan Oros is a prominent figure in Romania’s tech ecosystem. He has held key roles such as Google’s strategy and operations head for Central and Eastern Europe, country head of BlaBlaCar Romania, venture scout for Accel, and consultant at AT Kearney. As an angel investor, he strongly advocates for young entrepreneurs and Romania’s tech scene. Daniel Demian has held multiple product roles in the ad-tech space during his 15-year career, most recently as head of product for Bannersnack and co-founder and head of product at Quantum Advertising, which he exited in 2018.

LiveMode

Entrepreneurs: Sergio Lopez and Edgar Diniz
Industry: Commerce
Endeavor Office: Brazil

What they do: Founded in 2017, LiveMode partners with sports rights holders—sports teams, leagues, and federations—to navigate the fragmented world of digital distribution, broadcasting, and content. The company operates a full-stack solution for rights holders which includes media rights negotiations, digital distribution, live game production, digital content production, and the sale of advertisements and sponsorships. LiveMode works with some of the biggest sporting entities in the world, such as FIFA, the IOC, and UEFA, and it partners with online streaming platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Prime Video, Samsung TV+, and others.

Who they are: LiveMode’s co-founders are longtime friends from Rio de Janeiro who previously founded and exited a sports media group, Esporte Interativo. Edgar began his career at JP Morgan, where he rose to the position of VP of M&A. Edgar is also an active angel investor with investments in various businesses across Brazil and the US. Sergio began his career as a marketing manager at BTG Pactual and then as the commercial director of Avery Dennison. Like Edgar, Sergio also has a strong track record of angel investments across the US and Brazil. They both left their jobs in 2002 to grow Esporte Interativo, which they sold to Turner Broadcasting in 2015. Observing the shift from TV to online sports broadcasting, they founded LiveMode in 2017.

Yuno

Entrepreneurs: Juan Pablo Ortega and Julián Núñez
Industry: Fintech
Endeavor Office: Colombia

What they do: Founded in 2022, Yuno is a leading payments orchestration platform in Latin America, assisting large businesses in streamlining their payment and fraud management systems. Yuno connects with various entities within the payment ecosystem—including local networks, banks, payment processors, and anti-fraud providers—to reduce payment processing time and fees, improve payment success rates, decrease fraud, and enhance end-customer satisfaction for its merchants. Since its inception, the company has secured major clients such as InDrive, Rappi, and Avianca, and has processed over $1.5 billion in transaction volume.

Who they are: Juan followed an unconventional path to fintech, starting in aviation as a pilot at 16 and later as a ground operator at JetBlue before studying Economics. After university, he briefly worked as an aviation management consultant before joining Rappi’s founding team in 2015. Julián, also an Economics graduate, worked as a banker before joining Rappi’s payments division in Colombia and Mexico, eventually leading the strategy team in Brazil. At Rappi, Juan and Julián collaborated in the payments division, identifying the need for a streamlined global payment infrastructure in emerging markets. This led them to create Yuno in 2022.

Endeavor also held a selection panel this month for one company that attended a previous ISP and was invited to come back to a second panel, following the achievement of select business milestones. This month, we proudly announce the selection of two remarkable founders as Endeavor Entrepreneurs. Throughout the rigorous ISP process, they demonstrated exceptional potential for high-impact growth and a steadfast commitment to nurturing their local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
