Endeavor Peru is launching a new program, “Promesas Endeavor Peru,” aimed at selecting, supporting and scaling early-stage technological ventures by giving them access to education, high-impact networking and sources of capital.
The program is being developed with funds granted by Innovate Peru, the division in-charge of innovation, entrepreneurial productivity and competitiveness of the Peruvian Ministry of Production. The objective is to select promising businesses that escape Endeavor’s scope of action today and accelerate their growth to turn them into potential success cases for the organization and the country, developing the technological ecosystem through a multiplier-effect.
Promesas’ inaugural event was held on January 31 at Endeavor Peru’s offices in San Isidro, geared toward entrepreneurs that are leading early-stage technological ventures and are eager to learn from seasoned executives and entrepreneurs who can help them scale their businesses. The program featured a talk on taking companies from launch to exit by Gary Urteaga, an Endeavor Entrepreneur and Co-Founder of Cinepapaya, which was recently successfully acquired by Fandango. The event closed with a panel on technology, during which three of Endeavor Peru’s entrepreneurs from the digital sector spoke about best practices for founding digital companies.
