Sixty-five Endeavor Entrepreneurs from over 20 countries gathered in San Francisco this April for the inaugural Endeavor Outliers, an invite-only two-day peer and mentor networking event.
Highlights of the day included a fireside chat between Jeff Weiner, CEO of LinkedIn, and Joanna Rees, Endeavor Global board member and managing partner at West, as well as small group, peer roundtable discussions facilitated by top Endeavor mentors that focused on discussing challenges around team, culture, developing a strong board, high growth, and the road to IPO. Endeavor Entrepreneurs also had ample opportunities to exchange ideas and challenges with one another during networking segments.
The Outliers event put into practice what we’ve always believed at Endeavor: that strong peer and mentor connections are crucial to building thriving entrepreneurship ecosystems,” said Endeavor Co-founder and CEO Linda Rottenberg. “Outliers leveraged our global network to provide a uniquely Endeavor opportunity for top high-impact entrepreneurs from around the world to come together to learn from one another, get inspired, and strengthen their ties across borders.”
Coming out of Outliers, many of the attendees echoed sentiments that the event had inspired them to find further inspiration among their peers in the Endeavor network, aspire to be bigger than they were today, and commit to becoming a better leader.
As part of the event, Endeavor Entrepreneurs also had the opportunity to attend the Endeavor Catalyst Annual Investor Meeting, where they heard from Silicon Valley tech leaders such as Reid Hoffman, Marissa Mayer, and Dara Khosrowshahi, as well as peers in the network who have brought Endeavor Catalyst into their financing rounds.
