In 2017, Endeavor is marking 20 years of supporting high-impact entrepreneurs by looking back on our network’s achievements, and celebrating new milestones.
Endeavor Co-Founders Linda Rottenberg and Peter Kellner started Endeavor in 1997 with a simple idea: that high-impact entrepreneurs are the key levers to sustainable economic growth. Conceived from a “business plan” sketched onto the back of a napkin, Endeavor has grown over the past two decades to become not only a shared vision but a global network cultivated passionately by board members, entrepreneurs, mentors, and staff.
From offices in just two countries in 1998, Endeavor has expanded to 25 countries and 50 cities around the world. To date, these offices have selected more than 1,400 entrepreneurs leading 875 companies, connecting them with the resources needed to scale their businesses, strengthen local entrepreneurial ecosystems and pay it forward to future generations of founders. And, in 2017, we look forward to announcing the launch of new offices across three continents.
This year, Endeavor will convene our network at an unprecedented eight International Selection Panels in cities in six countries around the world, including New York City, where our global team is headquartered. Endeavor Entrepreneurs, board members, and mentors from around the world will also have a unique opportunity to come together at the 2017 Endeavor Entrepreneur Retreat at the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay in California. Our 20th anniversary celebration will culminate in the late fall with the 2017 annual Endeavor Gala in New York City. To learn more about our 20th Anniversary events, contact us here.
