Endeavor Entrepreneurs, board members, members, partners and staff convened in Miami over June 12-13 at the 2017 eMerge Americas event, a tech entrepreneurship conference geared toward the Americas that draws a crowd of nearly 14,000 each year.
Endeavor Miami participated in the event with dedicated booth in partnership with the Knight Foundation, and several Endeavor Entrepreneurs, Endeavor Miami staff and board members spoke during panel discussions on various topics, including “Innovating and Scaling Across Markets.” Moderated by Endeavor Miami Managing Director Laura Maydón, the panel included Endeavor Entrepreneurs Claudia de Heredia of Kichink (Mexico), Sebastian Jasminoy of FLUVIP (Colombia), and Seth Cassel of EveryMundo (Miami).
During the second day of eMerge Americas, Endeavor Miami board member Melissa Medina spoke on the Women in Tech stage, introducing a panel on the “Social Impacts of Being an Entrepreneur,” which featured Endeavor Entrepreneur Silvina Moschini, founder of Yandiki and SheWorks!. Board members Matt Haggman and Maurice Ferré also moderated panel discussions.
