The March 5 issue of Bloomberg Businessweek featured a profile of fast-growing on-demand delivery app Rappi, which started in Colombia but has since expanded to Mexico. The firm, described by Businessweek as a “mash-up of Uber Eats, Instacart and Task Rabbit,” has also attracted over $100 million in funding from the likes of Andreessen Horowitz and Delivery Hero as well as Endeavor Catalyst. Rappi has over 9,000 contractors working for it in 14 cities.
