Forbes Names Two Endeavor Entrepreneurs to “30 Under 30 Asia” List

Endeavor Entrepreneurs Vivy Yusof of Malaysia’s Fashion Valet (FV) and Gibran Huzaifah of Indonesia’s eFishery were recognized on Forbes Magazine’s “30 Under 30 Asia” list, in the Retail & Ecommerce and Industry, Manufacturing & Energy categories respectively. The annual list which highlights hundreds of the the brightest young entrepreneurs, innovators and game-changers across different sectors. Leading executives of Endeavor Philippines company mClinica also appeared on the list in the Healthcare & Science category.

Selected in 2017 at the 69th International Selection Panel in Kuala Lumpur, Fashion Valet is Malaysia’s first multi-label fashion company that provides women access to the best Southeast Asian designers and designs through its ecommerce website and retail stores. With over 400 designers under its belt and four privately owned labels, FV has positioned itself as one of the largest online fashion players in the regional market. In addition to her role at the helm of FV, Vivy is also a model, blogger, fashion icon and mother of two, and has launched her own brand of scarves and accessories for other Muslim women.

As a fish farmer-turned-agriculture tech entrepreneur, eFishery founder and CEO Gibran Huzaifah is revolutionizing the relatively untapped $5.4 billion-valued Indonesian aquaculture market. Selected into the Endeavor network at the 63rd International Selection Panel in Dubai in 2016, eFishery uses cloud-based smart-feeding technology in 20,000 fish and shrimp farms across the vast archipelago, to ensure the fish are healthy and waste minimized — claiming to reduce costs by 21%. The IoT startup doesn’t just sell products, it also collects data from feeding, production, water quality and fish behavior, to create predictive insights for farmers. Gibran believes disruption in the agriculture sector through technology will play a massive part in addressing what is set to be one of the 21st century’s biggest challenges: famine.
