Introducing The Lindas, a New Award Honoring Ambassadors of the Endeavor Spirit

From our inception in 1997, Endeavor has always been of, by, and for entrepreneurs. Our mission is to prove that anyone, from anywhere, can hatch a “crazy” idea; access the networks, talent, and capital to build that idea to scale; achieve success; then, most important, pay it forward to inspire, nurture, and enable the next generation.

Endeavor Entrepreneurs don’t just go big; they also give back.

Today, we are pleased to announce an Endeavor first: an award to honor the entrepreneurs in our network who most embody the Endeavor spirit of dreaming crazy, scaling up, and paying it forward. Last year, in honor of Endeavor co-founder and CEO Linda Rottenberg’s two decades of service to the organization and her milestone birthday, her husband, Bruce Feiler, and the Endeavor global board, under Chairman Edgar Bronfman, Jr., joined together to create this unique honor. Every fall, we will recognize Ambassadors of the Endeavor Spirit.

These are Endeavor Entrepreneurs who exemplify the values of our global network: integrity, trust, high-impact ambition, a #OneEndeavor mindset, and a commitment to paying it forward by spreading the transformative qualities of entrepreneurship through  role modeling, mentorship and reinvestment.

Candidates will be nominated from the Endeavor network and selected by our global community of Endeavor Entrepreneurs. Winners will be announced each year at the Endeavor Gala in New York City and honored with a video that will live on a dedicated page on our website. In the tradition of “The Oscars” and “The Tonys,” and in recognition of Linda’s legendary enthusiasm and passion, the awards will be called The Lindas.

Please join us in celebrating Linda and inaugurating this exciting award by nominating an entrepreneur you think best captures Endeavor’s spirit of dreaming crazy, scaling up and paying it forward. All nominations should be submitted by June 15, 2019. Feel free to include stories, statistics, videos and up to two testimonials of support. The Global Board will select up to five finalists; voting will take place over the summer. The first awards will be unveiled in New York on November 21, 2019.
