2022 Endeavor Entrepreneur Retreat

5:00PM – 6:00PM Reconnect with fellow Endeavor Entrepreneurs over drinks and curated conversations as you take in unique views while you ride the Ain Dubai – the world’s biggest and tallest observation wheel.

6:30PM – 9:00PM Celebrate the year’s first gathering of the Endeavor global community at the Welcome Reception.

Morning. Learn from and with your peers through select fireside chats and breakout sessions that will facilitate deeper connections and feature special guests from the Endeavor network. Among these:

• global investor panel reflecting on the changes and opportunities in the venture landscape, featuring Melis Kahya Akar (General Atlantic)
• geographic expansion, featuring Endeavor Ambassador Chris Misner (Apple, Roblox);
• curated peer braintrust sessions to unpack your most pressing challenge
• growth and exit through M&A, featuring Endeavor mentor Chris Rogers (Nextel acquired by Sprint, Lumia Capital).  

Lunch. Engage with your fellow founders and explore topics we are passionate about during a Jefforsonian-inspired lunch. 

Afternoon. Build shared memories with your peers during a private excursion to the desert for an authentic Bedouin camp cultural experience. Enjoy open-top nature drives, falcon shows and camel rides, and conclude with an outdoor dinner and local entertainment, hosted by the Endeavor UAE Board of Directors.

Morning. Be inspired to dream big and tackle future challenges and opportunities in this final morning. Sessions include the Endeavor Entrepreneur journey with Mudassir Sheika (Careem, acquired by Uber).

Lunch. Close out an unforgettable Retreat with a group takeaways + feedback session and lunch. 

Afternoon. Opt-in to activities in the afternoon to help you make the most of your trip to Dubai, including guided Expo tours.

Endeavor expects all participants to be fully vaccinated.

All passengers arriving to Dubai from any point of origin (including GCC countries) must hold a negative PCR test certificate, for which the test must be taken no more than 72 hours prior to the time of departure. Effective from 23 June 2021, travelers from certain countries must hold a negative PCR test, taken no more than 48 hours prior to the time of departure. Your ticket includes access to all Retreat sessions and covers meals and beverages during the retreat (Half Day March 8, Full Day March 9, and Half Day March 10).

Your ticket does not include travel/flights and accommodation. You can book hotel accommodations through Endeavor’s discounted room block at Fairmont The Palm. Please note, space is limited and first-come, first-serve.

The event is designed exclusively for Endeavor Entrepreneurs. We will also have Endeavor mentors, board members, and industry experts attending as guests and speakers.

Due to our limited capacity this year, we encourage you to engage in the retreat without your family. However, you are welcome to arrange extra time following the programming to explore Dubai.

The program will kick off with registration and a welcome evening cocktail hour on March 8 from 5pm and close with lunch on March 10 from 12:30-1:30pm.

For participants who require a pre-arranged visa, please allow 2-3 weeks to prepare. Endeavor can help issue invitation letters when needed. Please email [email protected] an email with the subject title: “Visa Needed for [First name, Last Name]”. In the body, please share: 1) your full name, 2) company name, and 3) an attachment with a copy of your passport. You will need a minimum of 6 months of validity on your passport.

The Retreat attire is business casual. Don’t forget to pack comfortable clothing if you’d like to participate in some excursions. Dubai enjoys a hot desert climate that’s warm or mild all year round. In March, daily high temperatures average at around 25°C during the daytime.
