Held at Saïd Business School, the exclusive three-day certificate program has been designed to offer an insider view into VC as part of the broader asset management landscape. Participants will be equipped with practical investor tools while examining how AI and emerging technologies are transforming how companies are built, evaluated, and financed.

The program blends faculty-led sessions, real-world case discussions, and hands-on exercises to demystify how investors source and diligence frontier tech companies and launch global funds with industry-leading returns.

Faculty Include 

Thomas Hellmann is a leading scholar in entrepreneurial finance, entrepreneurship, innovation, and public policy. His research explores how entrepreneurs finance and scale innovative ventures and how institutions and policy shape entrepreneurial ecosystems. He earned a BA from the London School of Economics and a PhD from Stanford University, where he studied under Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz, and has held faculty and visiting positions at institutions including Stanford, Harvard Business School, Wharton, INSEAD, and the University of British Columbia. His work appears in top journals such as the American Economic Review, the Journal of Finance, and Management Science, and he is the author of Fundamentals of Entrepreneurial Finance (Oxford University Press).
