Manny Ayala

Chief People Officer, Endeavor

Manny Ayala is a seasoned entrepreneur, strategist and ecosystem builder in Asia. With a career spanning media, investment banking and venture development, he is widely recognized for championing founders who scale with purpose and give back with impact.

As Chief People and Transformation Officer, Manny is leading the charge to help every staff member at Endeavor become a “Multiplier”… a professional who achieves their highest potential AND enables entrepreneurs and colleagues alike to become successful. Manny is concurrently the Regional Managing Director for Endeavor in Asia Pacific, where he supports offices in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Japan, Singapore, Pakistan and New Zealand. Manny started his Endeavor journey by launching the Philippines office in 2014.

Manny is passionate about helping entrepreneurs thrive in business while deepening their “give back” mindset. Prior to Endeavor he founded Hatchd, a venture builder in the Philippines whose portfolio includes Rappler — an online news and data company co-founded with Nobel Laureate Maria Ressa — and GrowSari, an e-commerce platform serving micro-retailers in the Philippines. Before starting Hatchd, Manny co-founded and exited Entertainment Gateway Group, a leading mobile content provider. Before that, he co-founded IRG Ltd, a Hong Kong-based M&A firm focused on early-stage Telecoms, Media and Tech companies across Asia.

Earlier in his career, Manny led creative and strategy functions at Turner Broadcasting and Discovery Channel Asia, where he helped launch and grow television networks across 14 countries.

Manny currently sits on the boards of UnionDigital Bank, First Gen Corp, the University of Asia & the Pacific and Rappler. He is a past president of Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) Philippines, where he helped launch the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards in Asia.

Manny holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a BA from Yale University and is a certified executive coach.
