Company Snapshot

Father and daughter Rodrigo and Pilar have developed one of the top vegetable seed multiplication companies (growing seeds in volume) by using innovative production strategies and implementing consistent quality control. Maraseed stands out in its ability to produce year-round, thanks to Rodrigo’s early vision in developing the first production facility in Chile’s Atacama Desert. Maraseed is a critical component to the region’s local economy, offering quality jobs and job training in an overlooked area.

Maraseed’s biggest clients are in the Netherlands, the U.S., Japan and France.

Pilar was named one of the 100 top leaders in Chile, and Maraseed was recognized by Ernst & Young in 2007.

Endeavor and Maraseed

The Entrepreneurs have benefited from influential strategic mentorships, local Endeavor Forum, and Pathways to Prosperity Program, as well as Global services such as Ernst & Young Fellows, ECLA, Entrepreneur Summit, and Immersion Tour.

Both Entrepreneurs remain active members of the network, regularly donating their time and energy.
