The first South American to climb Mt. Everest and an entrepreneur recognized for his vision, Rodrigo was selected as one of “100 Global Young Leaders of the 21st Century” by Time magazine. His company, Vertical, offers outdoor education, expeditions, and team-building to schools and leading corporations throughout Chile. In order to reach those children who cannot afford the cost of Vertical’s outdoor education programs, Rodrigo’s parallel foundation provides scholarships for more than 1,000 underprivileged children every year.

Vertical was the subject of a Yale School of Management case study. Most recently, Rodrigo was appointed the director of an initiative to overcome poverty in Chile.

Endeavor and VERTICAL

Endeavor’s early support provided Rodrigo with important management strategies, as well as increasing his professional confidence as an entrepreneur. In addition to benefiting from local mentors and the Global eMBA program, he has participated in several Entrepreneur Summits.

Rodrigo remains a key member of Endeavor Chile’s network, active as a local and international panelist, mentor, ambassador, and speaker.
