Company Snapshot

The first entrepreneur selected by Endeavor Jordan, Mansour founded Javna Wireless Software Solutions, the leading Arab firm in software solutions and wireless applications, and the first company in the region to develop proprietary software and solutions for the mobile market. Having grown his business more than ten-fold over the last four years (from US$330,000 to US$2.5m), Mansour is aiming for an additional ten-fold increase (to over US$40m) by 2011.

With an impressive list of partners –- including major mobile operators in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE –- as well as exclusive regional agreements with both Al Jazeera News and CNBC Arabia, Javna is well positioned to continue its regional leadership in the fast-growing mobile data hosting and messaging markets. Even further, Javna will soon leverage its success into its next major
project, the Javna Mobile Media Network.

Mansour’s passion for technology and innovation has been a lifelong one. Following his high school years in Kuwait, Mansour studied Mathematics and Computer Science in Michigan, and then went on to launch a career in both development and consulting for several big-name, international companies – including Oracle, Detroit Edison, Price Waterhouse, General Electric, and the Ford Motor Company. Possessing a very strong technical background, Mansour has worked for large corporations and small start-ups, honing his business skills along the way and applying his expertise to a range of industries. Prior to founding Javna, he worked as a delivery director in ONEWORLD software solutions, where he oversaw several software development projects. He also worked as a corporate and business planning manager for Qatar Telecom Corporation, the telecommunications carrier for the State of Qatar.

Endeavor and Javna

Mansour has benefited from introductions to potential investors and partners. He also participated in an Immersion Tour and the Mentor Capital Program.

In Mansour’s words, “At any point of time I can talk to my Endeavor family members — locally and globally — reminding me I am not alone.”
