Company Snapshot
Injula Mining Operations is part of a new wave of coal mining companies launched to reduce production inefficiencies affecting the mines in South Africa. One of the only companies to meet the Black Economic Empowerment standards — Injula is 51% black-owned — it is positioning itself as the coal-mining contractor of choice.
Bheka sold Injula Mining Operations in early 2007, and started a corporate finance firm.
Endeavor and Injula Mining Operations
In addition to local workshops (e.g., accounting and finance) and mentoring, Bheka has benefited from an Immersion Tour, several mentors, strategic introductions, and legal counsel.
Bheka demonstrates commitment by mentoring an entrepreneur in Endeavor South Africa’s Excelerator Program, and has spoken at several Enterprise Learning Circle sessions.
