SVP, Entrepreneur Selection & Growth

Joanna Harries is an SVP at Endeavor. After four years leading Endeavor’s expansion in the Middle East and North Africa, Joanna is now focused on establishing Endeavor’s presence in North America. With launches in Miami, Detroit, Louisville, Atlanta and San Juan, Endeavor is betting on high-impact entrepreneurs to drive economic growth in these cities.

Since joining Endeavor in 2010, Joanna has led the Asia team (working with Endeavor Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and Japan) and supported the Food & Beverage, Retail & Consumer Tech, Healthcare and Agriculture portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Endeavor, Joanna worked for six years with Unilever Canada and U.S. in brand management and customer development.

She was awarded an Acumen Fellowship in 2009, and worked in Mumbai for a social enterprise delivering emergency medical services. She holds B.B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada and is an active member of the Dean’s advisory council. A lifelong learner, Joanna attended Harvard Business School’s Scaling Entrepreneurial Ventures (2015 class) and teaches in NYU’s School of Professional Studies Initiative for Creativity and Innovation in Cities. She has been recognized as a Kauffman Fellow; served on the World Economic Forum’s Gender Parity Task Force; and is a board member for Unltd USA (now Techstars Impact).

Joanna lives in New York City with her husband and two young sons.
