There, she worked to increase sales and adoption of improved charcoal cooking technologies to reduce fuel consumption, decrease dangerous emissions, and save users across East Africa money and time. Anna also has a background in grants, fundraising, and foundation and social enterprise management, having worked with a variety of institutions around the US including the United Nations Foundation, BioLite, and the Fund for the Public Interest.

Anna was born and raised in New Jersey and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College, where she studied environmental policy. During her time at Colby, she spent a semester in Rabat, Morocco, studying multiculturalism and human rights. Anna loves spending time in the great outdoors, hiking, exploring the world of photography, eating ice cream, and occasionally cutting a rug on a dance floor.
