Endeavor Launches Women in High-Impact Entrepreneurship Community with Inaugural Event

Endeavor hosted its first annual Women in High-Impact Entrepreneurship (WHIE) event, bringing together high-impact, investment-ready Endeavor Entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors for a day of keynote talks, open discussion, and direct feedback. The day-long gathering formally launched the WHIE community, an ongoing initiative to provide mutually beneficial opportunities for female entrepreneurs and other stakeholders in Endeavor’s global network.

The event drew Endeavor Entrepreneurs from 12 different markets, leading NY-based CEOs, and representation from 15 funds, including Bain Capital, Insight Venture Partners, Greycroft, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Innova Capital.

Highlights included keynote talks from LearnVest Founder Alexa von Tobel, Eloquii Founder Mariah Chase in conversation with Greycroft Partner Ellie Wheeler, and MSNBC Host JJ Ramberg in conversation with Cardlytics Co-founder Lynne Laube, who shared their experience and offered advice.

Entrepreneurs also had the opportunity to speak with investors one-on-one in networking sessions, and participate in topic-driven peer circles led by Venrock Partner Nick Beim, author and former GE Vice Chair Beth Comstock, and Case Medical Research Co-founder Avikk Ghose.

“I love the fact that it was an event with high-impact women, but that the topics revolved around key challenges any entrepreneurs face as we scale our businesses.
