In 2010, Firas Al-Otaibi, Mohammed Asfour, and Wael Attili, along with two other partners, founded Think Awabia to fill the gap of online Arabic content. A one-stop-shop for Arabic animated content and multimedia design, Think Arabia comprises three businesses: Kharabessh (an animation studio), Untitled (a design studio), and Wikikiwis (a web technology company).

Friends since high school, Mohammed and Wael share a similar education background. In 1994, they were among the first batch of students accepted at a prestigious school, and both studied architecture in college. Afterwards, they often crossed paths in the professional world. They explored various independent entrepreneurial pursuits.

In 2004, Firas and Mohammed founded Untitled Creative Sutdios. During this time, Wael started a number of companies, including Ikbis, the first Arabic video and photo sharing website.

By 2010, Kharabessh and Untitled were established firms, but obstacles led the three entrepreneurs to restructure the business. Now, they offer a wide array of Arabic media products and services.
The entrepreneurs believe that Think Arabia’s future growth will be driven by Kharabeesh, with Untitled and Wikikiwis providing branding, packaging, and technical support.
