Fast Company named Satellogic, Mercado Libre, and Contabilizei — all led by Endeavor Entrepreneurs — to its 2017 annual ranking of the top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Latin America, released this February. According to Fast Company, staff sifts through thousands of enterprises each year, searching for those that “tap both heartstrings and purse strings,” as well as use commerce to make a positive impact in the world.
Satellogic was recognized “for using nanosatellites to give the earth a checkup;” Mercado Libre “for building an ecommerce empire;” and Contabilizei “for decoding tax laws for freelancers.”

Led by Emilano Kargieman, Argentina’s Satellogic has created a network of mass-produced nano-satellites, providing high-resolution data of expansive areas at a comparatively low cost. With better technology, higher-resolution, and more efficient imaging processes, Satellogic will be able to provide images 100 times more frequently and 1,000 times cheaper than traditional EO companies. The company aims to democratize access to space-based services, by fostering new markets of innovative applications. The brand caters to governments, to which it sells access to raw images, charging per sq. kilometer, from which governments can monitor productivity or traffic. Satellogic also has large oil and gas, as well as agricultural, clients.
Satellogic was selected into the Endeavor network in 2014 at the 54th International Selection Panel (ISP) in New York City. Satellogic has also received investment from Endeavor Catalyst, Endeavor’s innovative co-investment vehicle.

Contabilizei is the leading tax reporting and accounting automation service for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs) in Brazil. Based in Curitiba, Brazil, the two-year-old company is disrupting a highly bureaucratic and complex market, in which Brazilian SMBs spend an average of 2,600 hours/year declaring and paying taxes. Replacing manual accounting practices with their web and mobile-enabled service, Contabilizei has quickly grown to be the market leader in Brazil for online accounting and tax reporting software. After more than a year working with our local Endeavor team in Brazil, Vitor Torres (CEO) and Fabio Bacarin (CTO) were selected as Endeavor Entrepreneurs at the May 2016 ISP in Madrid, Spain. They also received investment from Endeavor Catalyst in 2016.
