Scriptr, ReserveOut, Tamatem, POSRocket, and Eventtus were also recognized on the list.

With a rapidly growing entrepreneurship ecosystem in the region, Forbes’ list is by no means exhaustive. The Top 100 Startups list identified companies offering innovative solutions to regional challenges, but narrowed criteria by which companies younger than six years had raised the most funding.
Forbes also highlighted five later stage companies led by Endeavor Entrepreneurs — Mumzworld, Anghami, ArabiaWeather, MadfooatCom, and Energy24 — on a ranking of 12 Up and Coming Companies. This list focused on companies who had raised more significant amounts of capital, proved to have sustainable business models, delivered to their investors, and “could well be the next big thing to come out of the Middle East.”
