ENDEAVOR

Established by the Endeavor Global Board of Directors in 2019 in honor of Endeavor Co-founder and CEO Linda Rottenberg’s legendary enthusiasm and passion, The Lindas are an annual award that recognize and celebrate entrepreneurs in Endeavor’s network who most embody the Endeavor spirit of dreaming crazy, scaling up, and paying it forward.

Now in its second year, the 2020 Lindas will honor: Hande Cilingir (Insider); one of the top women CEOs outside the US, Juan de Antonio (Cabify), the founder of the first unicorn in Spain; and Adolfo Babatz (Clip), an entrepreneur transforming the fintech ecosystem in Mexico. Together, these Endeavor Entrepreneurs live the values of our global network by: becoming leaders who foster a community based on mutual trust and respect; personifying our “Going Big” ethos through job and wealth creation; embodying a “One Endeavor” mindset that transcends borders; bringing life to Endeavor’s “Of, By and For Entrepreneurs” philosophy by serving as selection panelists, mentors, board members, and Endeavor Catalyst LPs; and demonstrating a broader commitment to paying it forward through role modeling, mentorship, reinvestment, philanthropy, and ecosystem building.

Candidates from around the world were nominated from the Endeavor network by mentors, board members, staff members, colleagues, and other Endeavor Entrepreneurs, after which the three winners were selected by the Endeavor Global Board:

Hande Cilingir, Co-founder and CEO of Insider

Headquartered in Singapore, and co-founded by Turkish entrepreneurs, Insider helps 800+ leading brands like Singapore Airlines, Marks & Spencer, Virgin, UNIQLO, Samsung, and Estée Lauder accelerate digital growth through best-in-class multichannel customer engagement. As the Co-founder & CEO, Hande leads a team of more than 550 employees from over 40 different nationalities across 24 countries worldwide, and has seen the company through periods of massive growth, including closing a $32M Series C round this year. Hande is a highly influential tech enthusiast and a thought leader, a mentor and role model in Endeavor’s network, and was recently ranked as one of the top three women CEOs outside of the US by Crunchbase. Hande embodies her belief in the importance of enabling, challenging, and fostering people looking to grow and create their life’s work in their careers, especially young women.

Juan de Antonio, Founder and CEO of Cabify

Founded in 2011 in Spain, Cabify seeks to reduce street congestion by providing an alternative to private cars, offering a safer and more efficient multi-mobility alternative with its technology. Operating today in almost 90 cities along Spain and Latin America, the company stands out by employing local talent, and generating high-value opportunities in an industry transformed by technology and innovation. In 2018, Cabify became the first unicorn in Spain’s history, serving as a huge entrepreneurial role model in the ecosystem and, in 2019, reached operating profitability proving the viability of new mobility forms. Today, Juan reinvests his success in helping the next generation of entrepreneurs succeed as an Endeavor Spain Board Member, by helping select and mentor new Endeavor Entrepreneurs, and through shaping national policies in Spain and Europe that promote entrepreneurship.
