Joanna Harries

VP, Entrepreneur Selection & Growth

Joanna Harries is Endeavor’s Vice President for the U.S., Canada and Asia. After 4 years running Endeavor’s expansion in the Middle East and North Africa, launching the offices in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Morocco, Joanna is now pioneering Endeavor’s development in North American cities. With launches in Miami, Detroit and Louisville, Endeavor is betting on High-Impact Entrepreneurs to drive economic growth in their cities. Joanna also leads the Asia team, supporting the growth of the offices and entrepreneurs in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Japan.

Prior to joining Endeavor, Joanna spent six years with Unilever in brand management. She was awarded an Acumen Fellowship in 2009, and worked in Mumbai for a social enterprise delivering emergency medical services. She earned her B.B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada and is a member of the Dean’s advisory council. In 2015, Joanna attended Harvard Business School’s Scaling Entrepreneurial Ventures. She teaches within NYU’s School of Professional Studies Initiative for Creativity and Innovation in Cities.

Joanna is based in New York City. She has been recognized as a Kauffman Fellow, served on the World Economic Forum’s Gender Parity Task Force, and is a board member for Unltd USA.
