David Kagulu-Kalema

David joined Endeavor in October 2015 as an Associate in the Entrepreneur Selection & Growth team. Prior to Endeavor, David worked as an associate for Social Enterprise @ Goizueta, a social entrepreneurship center at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School in Atlanta. While there, he helped run an accelerator program that helped metro Atlanta micro-entrepreneurs start or grow businesses.

David graduated from Amherst College in 2014 with a B.A. in Sociology. At Amherst, David was a senior captain and four year member of the men’s basketball team, which won a National Championship in 2013. In college, David spent a summer interning for the World Trade Organization’s Uganda Mission in Geneva, Switzerland, where he deepened his interest in economic development and supporting emerging markets.

Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in northern Virginia, David enjoys reliving his glory days on the basketball court, traveling, and attending spoken word poetry slams.
