Drawing on international experience across Europe, Middle East and Africa, and North and South America, Karim Djerboa has over 17 years of experience in business development leadership positions, including successful tenures with high-profile companies (Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company) and international firms (Cisco Systems).
Karim is the Director for Endeavor Global's Dubai Office. He has a proven track record of results in meeting and exceeding market share, account expansion goals, and strategic partnership goals, including million-dollar revenue growth.
Karim is skilled in building a vision for business development success and executing strategies that generate quantifiable outcomes. He has been the recipient of awards and recognition throughout his career for exemplary performance at developing and implementing global corporate affairs, business development, and education and training programs -- the latest being the 2012 Young Alumni Merit Award (YAMA) from the Southeast Missouri State University, Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Prior to joining Endeavor, Karim was Senior Manager, Global Field Operations and Strategic Alliances for the Cisco Entrepreneur Institute. Focused on transforming economies, the Institute is a global small business education program which provides business skill education to small and medium business via a blended learning model, using technology to connect the in-person learning environment with a community of business support.
For nearly four years Karim lead a team with members operating across North and South America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and was responsible for managing the overall field operations and alliances, expanding the institute's presence to 43 countries and training more than 16,000 entrepreneurs as of November 2011.
From 2006 to 2008, Karim was instrumental in the launch of the second Telecommunications operator in the UAE (du), creating the first partnership and alliances program for the enterprise division. In 2007, Karim was awarded the “du” award for best account coverage for the major accounts. Prior to that, Karim worked in promoting Red Hat Enterprise Linux solutions and trainings in the Middle East and Africa, and CRM solutions in the US.
Karim is a frequent keynote speaker and has conducted several workshops in the field of Business Development, Business Operations, and Sales management for SMBs and CSR. He has also been invited as subject matter expert on live TV shows to speak about entrepreneurship.
Karim received an MBA from Southeast Missouri State University, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He also holds a Master of Sciences in Management option, Sales Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technologies from l’Université des Sciences et Techniques du Languedoc, Montpellier, France. He speaks Arabic, English, French and Spanish. Karim is married and has four children.
