Spotlight: Global Entrepreneurship Week
Global Entrepreneurship Week is a worldwide initiative to inspire young people to embrace innovation and creativity. In 2009, together with the Kauffman Foundation, Endeavor offices reached over 87 million people during the annual event—including over five million people who participated in events in Endeavor countries. Through their second “Bota Pra Fazer” campaign with media partner Globo, Endeavor brought the message of entrepreneurship to over 1/3 of the population in Brazil.
Spotlight: Entrepreneur case studies at universities
Over 175 case studies about Endeavor and/or Endeavor Entrepreneurs have been taught in universities around the world. In the United States alone, Endeavor cases are systematically taught at such universities as Harvard, Stanford, Duke, MIT/Sloan, Columbia, and Princeton.
Endeavor seeks to catalyze entrepreneurial ecosystems in emerging economies, including fostering competitive capital markets. We accomplish this not only by servicing entrepreneurs, but by engaging other key change agents from the media and universities to the investment community and government officials. In all of the countries in which Endeavor operates, Presidents and Finance Ministers routinely call upon Endeavor to help implement pro-entrepreneurship, pro-market policies.
