Company Snapshot
In Mexico, 40% of the population is at risk of developing diabetes, which is the nation’s leading cause of death. Knowing that these diseases are avoidable, Morgan and his brother Christian are determined to make prevention a priority. In 2004, they founded Previta, which provides preventive healthcare services, including diagnostic tests, clinical laboratory exams, vaccinations, and affordable and convenient health-monitoring programs. Previta’s mobile health centers treat communities and corporate employees through preventive campaigns, while its retail clinics venture to neighborhood grocery stores and pharmacies to provide health management opportunities for casual shoppers.
Prior to Previta, Morgan pursued a career in medicine and finished his surgical training at Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos in 2004. He viewed preventive medicine as a noble yet neglected cause, and in 2003, he joined Sports World, a chain of gyms, as a medical advisor. He devised, implemented, and managed a “Fitness Check-up” program integrating medical exams, nutritional evaluations, and fitness plans. He also led vaccination campaigns for GlaxoSmithKline.
