The first gourmet Mediterranean food company in Mexico, Interdeli was created by Maan and his wife, Monique. Drawing from their shared Lebanese background (although Monique was born in Mexico), Maan carved out a niche for Mediterranean dishes by tweaking them to fit Mexican tastes. Started in their home kitchen, Interdeli now supplies its dairy products, dips, breads and prepared foods to the country’s major grocery stores. Along the way, Maan has created an open, respectful workplace that has retained 95% of its original hires. Recently Interdeli was selected as one of the top 10 entrepreneurs, as ranked by CNN Expansion.

Endeavor and InterDeli

Among other services, Maan has worked with Endeavor Mexico to set up an advisory board, which first convened in February 2010. Maan, who also received services before selection, has also benefited from support in obtaining government funding.
