Description

Kueski is a fast-growing young company from Mexico in the micro-lending space. Kueski is led by Endeavor Entrepreneur Adalberto “Adal” Flores, a serial entrepreneur from Guadalajara, Mexico. Addressing a huge market need—~85% of Mexican consumers do not have access to formal credit—Kueski has built an online-only consumer lending platform specializing in micro-loans of up to $450. Launched in January 2013, Kueksi’s algorithm-driven platform has already made tens of thousands of loans, is profitable on each loan it makes, and grew more than 10X last year.

Fun Fact

Immediately prior to founding Kueski, Adal spent three years as the Director of Operations for the cloud-based video platform Ooyala (acquired by Telstra). This represents our 4th investment in Mexico, and our 1st into a company based in Guadalajara.
